I have not tried it on another tv yet because I want my box in my living room, but I will probably test it today. They said that I was burning the boxes up by plugging it into a power strip, so I stopped and used the wall outlets and it still keeps happening. They have came out and replaced the wire from the box to the house, the inside wires are good. If I go get a new DVR box, then everything is great again for a few days and then it happens again. I call them and they reset the box and usually it doesn't help. The digital plus and HD channels don't work and then the On Demand stops working. After a few days things start fading out. Here is my issue: when I get a new DVR it works great the first night the picture is perfect, On Demand works, HD and digital plus channels work, life is good.
I have had prob 6 DVR's over the past two years alone. I have never had a problem with internet or cable (if it's plugged straight into my tv). I live in a woodsy area, so Mediacom is basically my only option for cable/internet.
